2017 Coach Development Seminar with John Kessel and Mark Lebedew

2017 Volleyball Australia Coach Development Program




AIS, CANBERRA 14-16th JULY 2017

Volleyball Australia (VA) wishes to extend an offer for interested coaches to participate in our coach development program run in conjunction with the World Championship Qualification Tournament being held at the AIS, Canberra from Friday 14- Sunday 16 July.

Presenters John Kessel and Mark Lebedew will be sharing their coaching philosophies and methodologies in this 3 day coach development seminar.

John Kessel is a world renowned coach and coach development expert who has many accolades to his name. Read more about John and his achievements by following the below link.


Mark has had a long history with Volleyball Australia both as a player and as a coach. Now a highly successful professional coach overseas, Mark recently has been appointed as the new Head Coach of the Men's’ Volleyroos. Seminar Details

 When: Friday 14th: 9.00am-7.30pm (11am-NZL VS TPE, 2pm-JPN vs THA)

Saturday 15th: 9.00am-5.00pm (5pm-TPE vs THA, 8pm-AUS vs JPN)

Sunday 16th:9.00am-12.00pm (12pm-THA vs NZL, 3pm-AUS vs JPN)

Where:The seminar will be in various meeting rooms and volleyball courts around the AIS. All matches will be held at the AIS Arena

Cost: $150 (includes tickets to the games with the coaching group for all matches from Fri -Sun).
